Students buzz through spelling bee

Lincolnview Elementary students recently finished their annual PTO fundraiser with an awards assembly. Top sellers from each grade had their names entered into a drawing for the chance to win an ipod touch. The lucky winner was fourth grader, Megan Ashley (pictured above). (Photo submitted.)

The Lincolnview Junior High 7th Grade Spelling Bee Champion for 2012 is Katlyn Wendel and the runner-up is Taylor Strickland. The 8th Grade Champion this year is Skyler Whitaker and runner-up is Max Rice. Katlyn and Skyler will compete against other area bee winners in February at The Van Wert County Bee. Congrats to our winners, and good luck at the county bee!
