Van Wert Police

February 21, 5:41 p.m. — Ryan P. Dillon, 32, of 14184 Middle Point Road, was charged with possession of marijuana and illegal possession of fireworks, while also being cited for having fictitious  license plates during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Jennings Road.

February 21, 8:33 a.m. — Someone apparently attempted to break into the Van Wert office of US Bank overnight Monday. Locks on the west and east doors to the building were reportedly damaged. Police are continuing their investigation.
