Van Wert Police

February 24, 9:54 a.m. — The theft of an Acer laptop computer was reported from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Leeson Avenue.

February 24, 10:37 a.m. — The theft of a garage door opener was reported from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Elson Avenue.

February 23, 6:45 p.m. — A 13-year-old Marsh Foundation resident was charged with assaulting a Marsh Foundation employee, and theft and disorderly conduct while at the local Walmart Super Center.

February 22, 4 p.m. — Erik M. Placke, 22, of rural Middle Point, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia while at a residence in the 300 block of South Market Street.
