Van Wert Police

March 11, 12:41 p.m. — The theft of $20.02 worth of gasoline was reported at Pak-A-Sak, 1052 S. Shannon St.

March 14, 1:36 p.m. — A hotel patron who was allegedly so intoxicated he couldn’t care for himself was also charged with disorderly conduct. Bryan Beverly, 39, was reportedly found in a highly intoxicated state after he failed to check out and didn’t answer the door or telephone and officers were called. He was also taken to Van Wert County Hospital for treatment.

March 15, 3:04 p.m. — A Van Wert resident reported damage done to the rear hatch of his 2011 Honda Pilot while it was parted in the parking lot of the  Van Wert Walmart.

March 13, 10:26 p.m. — Allan T. Pierce, 44, of 153 Blaine St., was arrested for aggravated menacing related to a domestic incident at his residence.

March 12, 1:27 p.m. — A 15-year-old boy was charged with felony assault after an incident at The Marsh Foundation, 1229 Lincoln Highway.

March 13, 8:14 a.m. — A 13-year-old girl was charged with being unruly after she left LifeLinks Community School without permission.
