French students attend foreign language fair

The Kindergarteners at Lincolnview Elementary set a special leprechaun trap this St. Patrick's Day complete with a trail of decorated hats that would be sure to lure him in. When the students returned the next day they went on a treasure hunt and found the leprechaun had left them rainbow cupcakes, and used his magic to shrink their hats! Kaden Hohman and Madison Pugh are shown setting the trap. (Photo submitted.)

Last week the French I & II students went to WSU Lake Campus to participate in a Foreign Language Fair.  They had the opportunity to attend 5 sessions presented by WSU professors and area foreign language teachers.  Some favorite sessions were German dance, Jamaican culture, tango lessons and ASL.  Eating lunch outside beside the lake was a big hit as well.  It was a fun and educational day.

Lincolnview Elementary invites everyone to come out to the PTO Carnival that is being held in the Elementary Friday, March 30 from 4-7 p.m.  Many fun activities will be offered for the family such as, a raffle, Eric’s Inflatables, cash cube, obstacle course, photo booth, Venedocia Lions Club Sausage, pizza, hotdogs, and much more. The raffle will begin at 6:30 p.m.
