Van Wert Police

April 1, 12:38 a.m. — Cory M. Fetzer, 33, of Ohio City, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), while passengers in his vehicle, Lorenzo J. Frye, 23, of 228 W. Second St., and Buddy D. Raines Jr., 22, of 819 E. Sycamore St., were cited for open container violations as a result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Central Avenue.

March 30, 2:39 p.m. — Van Wert Manor, 160 Fox Road, reported the theft of medication, specifically Hydrocodone, from the nursing facility.

April 1, 12:45 a.m. — Eric J. Hernandez, 31, of 729 George St., was charged with felony domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred at his residence.

April 2, 2:54 a.m. — Codi A. Brown, 23, of 921 Woodland Ave., was charged with OVI, open container, obstructing official business and speeding as a result of  a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Woodland.

March 31, 8:16 p.m. — Brandon H. Thomas, 29, of 714 George St., was charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging as a result of an incident at his residence.

March 31, 6:54 p.m. — Richard D. Gilbert, 40, of Lima, was charged with theft at Pak-A-Sak, 1052 S. Shannon St., and was also held on active warrants issued in Allen and Defiance counties.

March 31, 2:41 a.m. — Zachary A. Arnett, 27, of Mendon, was cited for an open container violation as a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Wayne Street.
