Van Wert Police

April 8, 12:24 p.m. — The theft of a Lincoln welder was reported in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street.

April 7, 11:01 p.m. — Three people face charges related to an incident at Reservoir No. 2. Abagail Baumle, 20, of Paulding, was charged with underage consumption, while Lorenzo J. Frye, 23, of 227 W. Second St., was cited for an open container violation. A 14-year-old girl was also cited for underage consumption.

April 8, 3:27 p.m. — Cory D. Fitzsimmons, 31, of 608 S. Market St., was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at his residence.

April 8, 4:50 p.m. — Isaac M. Mech, 24, of 510 1/2 Gordon Ave., was arrested for domestic violence for an incident that occurred at his residence, while Caleb S. Mech, 26, same address, was charged with domestic violence, but fled the scene before police arrived.

April 3, 6:43 a.m. — The theft of food was reported at the Century Bar, 137 S. Central Ave.

April 6, 12:39 p.m. — The theft of jewelry was reported by a resident of the 500 block of Jennings Road.
