Van Wert Police

April 16, 2:41 p.m. — Christopher L. Day, 39, of 619 E. Crawford St., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments after a search of his residence by Van Wert Municipal Court probation personnel. Day was also charged on April 15 with domestic violence for an incident that occurred at his residence.

April 15, 9:09 p.m. — Kyle W. Caldwell, 32, of 533 S. Franklin St., was arrested for an open container violation while in the 100 block of North Race Street.

April 15, 1:28 p.m. — Adam W. Keller, 29, of 223 W. Second St., was arrested for domestic violence as a result of an incident at Quail Run Apartments, 643 N. Franklin St.

April 15, 7:27 p.m. — Erik M. Placke, 22, of Middle Point, was cited for an open container violation while in the 700 block of Elm Street.

April 14, 6:49 p.m. — Joel R. Walker, 30, of Spencerville, was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) and  possession of drug paraphernalia and also cited for driving while under a license suspension as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Main and Shannon streets.

April 13, 10:30 p.m. — Isaac M. Williams, 19, of Payne, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Market Street.

April 12, 6:49 p.m. — Casey A. McMillen, 27, of 203 N. Wayne St., was charged with possession of cocaine after being stopped in the 700 block of East Main Street.

April 13, 12:46 a.m. — Eric D. Bowers, 25, of 710 Woodland Ave., was charged with illegal possession of fireworks as a result of an incident at his residence.
