Van Wert Police

April 18, 8:50 p.m. — An 11-year-old resident of The Marsh Foundation was charged with criminal damaging for damaging property belonging to the local Walmart store, 301 Towne Center Blvd.

April 19, 9:35 a.m. — A city woman reported the unauthorized use of a credit card belonging to her.

April 19, 10:44 a.m. — Eric J. Hernandez, 31, of 729 George St., was arrested on a warrant issued in Allen County for failure to appear at a court hearing.

April 16, 2:27 p.m. — A resident of the 200 block of Burt Street reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at her residence.

April 17, 8:08 p.m. — Alice L. Wappelhorst, 45, of 620 E. Crawford St., and Timothy J. Coombs, 46, of 218 Spencer Drive, were both charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for an incident that occurred at the Wappelhorst residence.

April 16, 5:43 p.m. — A 15-year-old Marsh resident was arrested on a charge of assault for an incident that occurred at the Marsh.
