April 22, 9:19 p.m. — Katrina M. Groves, 16, a resident of The Marsh Foundation, was charged with being unruly for running away from the facility and refusing to return.

April 23, 1:55 p.m. — Maria L. Wheeler, 23, of Payne, was charged with theft for a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Walmart Super Center, 301 Towne Center Blvd.

April 23, 10:28 p.m. — Virginia L. Schrader, 22, of 620 E. Crawford St., was arrested on a warrant issued on behalf of the Van Wert County Adult Probation Department.

April 23, 4:46 p.m. — Someone reportedly tried to break into the Black Swamp Bistro, 222 E. Main St., through a basement door.
