Van Wert Police

May 3, 9:13 p.m. — Brendan M. Berman, 17, of 11940 Dixon Cavett Road in Van Wert, was charged with disorderly conduct and underage consumption as a result of an incident that occurred in the 100 block of North Washington Street.

May 7, 11:38 p.m. — Stefan Dirham, 19, of 514 N. Jefferson St., was charged with disorderly conduct as a result of an incident in the 400 block of South Vine Street.

May 7, 9:19 p.m. — Michael Anthony Speakman, 20, of 1066 Rosemont Drive, was arrested at Papa John’s Pizza, 635 W. Ervin Road, on an outstanding warrant held by the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department.

May 7, 5:49 p.m. — Zachary N. Martinez, 24, of 131 Balyeat Ave., was arrested on a warrant issued in Paulding County.

May 7, 7:22 p.m. — Jared Alan Smith, 23, of 1227 E. Ervin Road, was arrested on an outstanding warrant held by the Rockford Police Department.

May 5, overnight — Residents in the 900 block of East Crawford Street and the 100 block of Keplar Street reported that tires on their vehicles were damaged.

May 6, 6:49 p.m. — Christine Valdez and Anna Evans, both 17, were charged with being unruly after they allegedly ran away from The Marsh Foundation. Valdez and Brianna Duhort, also 17, were also charged with assault related to another incident.

May 6, 1:03 p.m. — Tina T. Means, 44, of Cincinnati, was arrested on a charge of forgery for an incident that occurred at Papa John’s Pizza.

May 5, 3:05 p.m. — Megan Lippincott, 32, of Middle Point, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop in the area of the Murphy’s USA service station.

May 5, 7:45 p.m. — James D. Wappelhorst, 32, of 207 Burt St., was charged with obstructing official business, while Barbara J. Stegaman, 40, also of 207 Burt St., was cited for driving a vehicle while under a license suspension as a result of a traffic stop at the above address.

May 6, 2:09 a.m. — Kevin O. Davies Sr., 48, of 111 N . Vine St., was charged with disorderly conduct-persisting for an incident that occurred near the intersection of Main and Cherry streets.

May 5, 1:03 a.m. — Allan T. Pierce, 44, of 217 1/2 S. Fulton St., was charged with violating a Civil Protection Order for an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Blaine Street.

May 5, 7:57 p.m. — Michael D. Hipsley, 27, of 315 S. Race St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Main Street.

May 5, 4:53 p.m. — Anthony M. Pavlides, 30, of 10052 Lincoln Highway, Apt. 9, was served with a warrant issued on behalf of the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department.

May 5, 12:17 a.m. — Jessica M. Yoder, 30, of 518 N. Tyler St., was charged with OVI and a traffic violation as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington Street and Ervin Road.

May 4, 11:48 p.m. — Joshua L. Carlisle, 33, of Paulding, was charged with OVI, an open container violation and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Central Avenue.

May 6, 6:44 p.m. — William B. Miller of 414 1/2 S. Shannon St. was charged with OVI as a result of an accident that occurred in the 500 block of South Shannon.

May 5, 9:55 p.m. — Chelsea L. Godschalk, 22, of 533 S. Franklin St., was charged with driving a vehicle while under a license suspension, while a passenger, Chad M. Caldwell, 34, of Ohio City, was cited for an open container violation.
