Van Wert Police

June 12, 11 a.m. — A break-in was reported at the Goodwill store, 1220 S. Shannon St.

June 13, 1:21 p.m. — Kyle W. Caldwell, 32, of 911 1/2 E. Main St., was arrested on a probation violation warrant issued in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.

June 14, 3:35 a.m. — Shae Taylor Baker, 20, of 908 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear issued in Van Wert Municipal Court.

June 12, 7:32 p.m. — Susan Shawley, 42, of 217 1/2 S. Fulton St., was arrested on a charge of reckless operation on private property for an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Woodland Avenue.

June 13, 12:24 p.m. — Ricahrd J. Raber, 20, of 721 1/2 E. Main  St., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

June 12 8:48 p.m. — Dale W. Wright Jr., 20, of 318 S. Market St., was arrested on charges of theft and underage consumption after he allegedly stole alcohol from The Partee Shop, 303 W. Main St.

June 12, 5:31 p.m. — Patrick Sweeten, 55, of 10886 Lincoln Highway, Apt. 11, was arrested for disorderly conduct while at Cashland, 1108 S. Shannon St.

June 11, 10:42 p.m. — An 11-year-old girl was charged with domestic violence after an elderly woman was reportedly pushed down and injured in the 1000 block of Allingham Street.

June 8, 12:58 p.m. — Three counterfeit payroll checks were reportedly cashed at Sav A Lot supermarket, 1022 S. Shannon St.

June 11, 6:48 a.m. — Two counterfeit $100 bills were reportedly passed at the local Walmart Supercenter, 301 Towne Center Blvd.

June 6, 1:12 p.m. — Possible fraudulent checks were reportedly cashed at First Bank of Berne, 102 Christopher Crossing.
