June 27, 8:34 p.m. — Robert E. Ainsworth, 16, of 1031 Allingham St., was charged with domestic violence by threat as a result of an incident that occurred at his residence.

June 27, 2:31 p.m. — Mark A. Eberle, 34, of 518 N. Tyler St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Tyler. Eberle was also charged with obstructing official business and criminal damaging after he got out of the back of the 2012 Dodge Charger cruiser in which he was placed and, following a minor struggle, it was found that the rear quarter panel of the cruiser was damaged.

June 26, 10 a.m. — A man was bitten by a dog that got loose in the 300 block of West Main Street. The case was turned over to the Van Wert County dog warden for further action.

June 25, 6:42 p.m. — Eric J. Pringle, 36, of Toledo, was arrested for theft as a result of an incident at Pak-A-Sak, 1052 S. Shannon St.

June 25, 9:45 a.m. — A Van Wert man reported the theft of his grill’s propane tank.
