Van Wert Police

July 8, 8:57 a.m. — The theft of a credit card was reported at a residence in the 2oo block of North Chestnut Street.

July 6, 7:52 p.m. — Bradley J. Beining, 35, of 720 Prospect Ave., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of Shaffer Street.

July 7, 5:21 a.m. — Police were called to the 500 block of Blaine Street on a report that several people were fighting in the area. No charges were filed.

July 5, 4:05 p.m. — A resident of the 300 block of South Chestnut Street reported that three tires on her vehicle were cut.

July 5, 11:07 a.m. — Benjamin M. Price, 35, of 319 S. Chestnut St., was issued a summons to appear in Van Wert Municipal Court on a bad check charge.

Delphos Police

July 7, 11:46 p.m. — A local resident was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the 800 block of West Skinner Street. Delphos Police are investigating the incident.

July 6, 7:09 p.m. — Merle Harruff, 44, of Delphos, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct as a result of an incident that occurred in the 200 block of North Cass Street.

July 6, 12:57 a.m. — Brianna Baughn, 22, of Cincinnati, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct by intoxication after responding to a report of a possible fight near the intersection of Main and Seventh streets.
