July 9, 9:04 p.m. — Charles John Gurganus, 17, of Middle Point, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of George Street.

July 9, 12:13 p.m. — Mary J. Gregory, 38, of Van Wert, was issued a summons to appear in Van Wert Municipal Court on a bad check charge.
