Van Wert Police

July 25, 9:30 a.m. — Robert A. Simones, 42, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was charged with disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated after he was reported staggering into traffic on South Washington Street. When officers arrived, they found Simones asleep in a grassy area just off the west side of the 1200 block of South Washington.

July 24, 12:45 a.m. — Austin A. Young, 17, of 520 S. Vine St., was charged with possession of marijuana as a result of an incident near the intersection of Harrison and Greenewald streets.

Delphos Police

July 24, 11:35 p.m. — Officers investigated a report that two people had come into a business in the 900 block of East Fifth Street and threatened harm to an employee there.

July 25, 1:45 p.m. — A burglary was reported to a residence in the 200 block of Holland Avenue. Officers were told that someone gained entry to the home and took a number of items from inside the residence.
