Van Wert Police

August 6, 11:50 a.m. — A resident of the Homestead Village apartment complex reported being assaulted.

August 10, 5:40 p.m. — A 15-year-old Van Wert resident was charged with assault after a woman reported that her 8-year-old son was assaulted in the 800 block of Elm Street.

August 12, 11:55 a.m. — A resident of the 400 block of North Chestnut Street reported that someone damaged an above-ground swimming pool.

August 7, 2:08 p.m. — Skye N. Bagley, 17, of 210 E. Ervin Road, was charged with theft as a result of a shoplifting incident at Dollar General, 1136 S. Shannon St.

August 8, 3:06 a.m. — Joshua C. Williams, 18, of 235 W. Second St., was arrested for underage consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a noise complaint in the 6oo block of North Franklin St.

August 2, 1:30 a.m. — Manuel J. Garcia, 36, of South Bend, Ind., was arrested on a parole violation warrant issued in Indiana following a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Washington Street.

August 6, 9:44 p.m. — Jesse D. Perez Jr., 40, of 693 N. Market St., was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at his residence.

Delphos Police

August 11, 11:45 a.m. — Michael Sterling, 54, of Delphos, was arrested for possession of marijuana by officers investigating a complaint in the 600 block of West Sixth Street.
