Van Wert Police

August 14, 3:59 p.m. — A broken glass window was reported at the Van Wert Variety Store, 315 E. Main St.

August 15, 11:51 a.m. — David P. Mace, 24, of 734 Liberty St., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence for an incident at his residence.

August 15, 5:20 p.m. — A resident of the 500 block of East Sycamore Street reported damage to the inside of the residence.

August 12, 10:49 p.m. — Tyler J. Mohr, 17, of rural Convoy, was charged with possession of Hydrocodone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was also cited for failure to reinstate his operator’s license as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Center and Monroe streets.

August 13, 12:50 a.m. — Chase S. Wallace, 18, of 327 S. Shannon St., was charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Crawford and Short streets.

August 15, 3:16 a.m. — The owner of the Fountain Inn reported damage to a statue at the business, located at 234 W. Main St.
