Van Wert Police

August 19, 1:57 a.m. — Corbin A. Branson, 21, of rural Middle Point, and Tanner W. Lewis, 19, of Ohio City, were cited as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Balyeat Avenue and Washington Street. Lewis, the driver of the vehicle, was charged with underage consumption and operating a vehicle after underage consumption, while Branson was cited for an open container violation.

August 19, various times — Lisa M. Stripe, 29, of 370 W. Maple Ave., Apt. A, was charged with both disorderly conduct and domestic violence in connection with separate incidents this past Sunday. During an incident at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, Stripe and Travis M. Coombs, 24, of 366 W. Maple Ave., Apt. D, were both charged with disorderly conduct, while Stripe was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident that took place at approximately 9:45 that evening.

August 18, 5:31 p.m. — Shane R. Seekings, 27, of 339 N. Tyler St., was arrested at his residence on a probation violation charge issued by the Van Wert County Adult Probation Department.

August 19, 12:40 a.m. — Tyler A. Strawn, 20, of Lima, was charged with underage consumption as a result of a traffic stop in the 10000 block of Ohio 118.
