August 9, 12:09 p.m. — A resident in the 500 block of Collins Avenue reported a theft occurred there.

August 19, 2:10 p.m. — A female black and white mixed breed dog was reported taken from a residence in the 200 block of West Fourth Street.

August 20, 10:46 p.m. — Misty D. Browning, 48, of 611 Liberty St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Daniel and Elson streets.

August 20, 3:52 p.m. — Cassandra D. Oates, 30, of 222 Shaffer St., was charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting at the local Walmart Super Center, 301 Towne Center Blvd.
