Book Fair and Math-a-Thon

A big THANK YOU goes out to the Lincolnview students, parents, staff and community for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair.  Because another record was set for the book fair, the students will get to enjoy many, many new books.  Mrs. McCleery, along with Mr. Stemen and the whole Lincolnview staff thank you for your generosity.

This year’s Math-a-Thon participants raised $540 for St. Jude’s. The St. Jude’s Math-a-Thon is America’s largest education-based fundraiser. Each year thousands of schools participate, helping to raise millions of dollars for the patients of St. Jude. Our participation in the Math-a-Thon program helps to make it possible for St. Jude to treat patients regardless of a family’s inability to pay. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.
