Have your pie and eat it too

The Lincolnview Junior High will be collecting aluminum beverage cans between now and Wednesday, Dec. 19, in order to raise money to help several families in our school community this holiday season. Cans may be sent to school and given to Mrs. Dowdy or Mrs. Sheets. A special drop-off for large amounts will be held before school on Dec. 19 from 7:30-8-:15 a.m. in front of the high school. Thank you in advance for helping us make this holiday a bit brighter for several Lincolnview families.

The second and third grade students will be presenting “The Reindeer Whisperer” tonight, Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. in the elementary gym. The students are excited to present this fun and entertaining program to parents, friends and the community. Hope to see you there!

Senior Parents, while your students have down time during their holiday break, you can have your senior working on scholarship applications.  Many are available on the guidance link on the school’s website.  If by chance they don’t have their college applications done, they really need to get those done before the first of the year.

Also, seniors remember that your class trip permission form and $20 non-refundable deposit are due Dec. 20 to Miss Rohrs. Exam exemptions for Skyway cardholders are available! Students should have these filled out and returned no later than Jan. 4, 2013.
