Van Wert Police

February 2, 11:20 p.m. — A 15-year-old Van Wert boy was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking items from a local convenience store.

February 2, 5:02 p.m. — Trisha M. Wilson, 33, of 1116 Kear Road, Lot 17, was cited for having no driver’s license and was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Ervin Road and Westwood Drive.

February 2, 5:33 a.m. — Jessica K. Freitag, 24, of 1023 Oak Lane, was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at her residence.

February 1, 4 p.m. — Paula K. Wilder, 57, of 227 1/2 N. Cherry St., was charged with theft after items were taken from the Crisis Care Line’s House of Transition.

February 2, 9:03 p.m. — A 14-year-old was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at his residence on Bell Avenue.

January 31, 1:34 p.m. — A possible fraud involving donations purportedly for an ill child was reported to police.
