Van Wert Police

February 22, 5:45 p.m. — Jesse Stemen, 24, of 14529 Brodnix Road, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), during while under a license suspension and possession of drug abuse instruments as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Chestnut and Frothingham streets.

February 23, 2:42 a.m. — Tom Herbert Waxler, 35, of Defiance, was charged with felony vandalism after he allegedly kicked in a back entry door to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

Delphos Police

February 18, 4:06 p.m. — Joseph Obringer, 33, of Delphos, was charged with theft as a result of an incident in the 200 block of West Clime Street.

February 23, 2:51 p.m. — John Friemoth, 24, of Delphos, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle from an incident Wednesday and was taken into custody on that charge, as well as an outstanding arrest warrant.

February 22, 9:57 a.m. — John Duer, 20, of Delphos, was arrested on a warrant while in the 700 block of East Fifth Street.
