Van Wert Police

April 2, 10:23 a.m. — A 14-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at LifeLinks Community School.

April 2, 12:53 a.m. — Dale Moulton, 28, of 331 N. Chestnut St., was charged with violating the city’s open burn ordinance as a result of an incident at his residence.

March 31, 5:33 p.m. — Tyler Jones Levos, 27, of Paulding, was cited for an open container violation, while Ricky A. Girod, 51, of Grover Hill, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington Street and Towne Center Boulevard.

March 31, 4:05 a.m. — An entry door of Moose Lodge 1320, 740 W. Ervin Road, was damaged in what appeared to be a break-in attempt. The door was found by an officer investigating an alarm at the lodge.

March 31, 1:40 a.m. — Brad L. Baysinger, 53, of 510 Shaffer St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) after his motorcycle was found laid down on a sidewalk in the 200 block of Bonnewitz Avenue.

March 31, 7:54 p.m. — Tyler A. Dirham, 20, of 514 N. Jefferson St., was arrested on a warrant issued in Mercer County.
