First graders bust a move

The Lincolnview First Grade class, under the direction of Jennifer Slusher, performed a spring program on Tuesday, April 23. at 7 p.m. in the Lincolnview Elementary Gym. The program was titled "Bust a Move" and featured songs and choreography about different types of dancing and music. Some of the songs featured were "This is the My Country" and "Silly Sixties". The kids did a great job and even earned a much-appreciated "encore" from the audience. FCA will be meeting this Friday in the lecture hall from 12:20-12:40 p.m. There will be a guest speaker from the community. This is our third meeting of the year and we have had as many as 50 HS kids coming to FCA. There are two more meetings: May 10th and May 17th.

Parents are welcome to come to this week’s meeting.
Lancer Softball currently stands at 9-2 overall and 3-1 in NWC play. In conference, the team has defeated Delphos Jefferson, Paulding, and Ada. Their setback was against Lima Central Catholic. Tournament draw is Sunday, May 5, with games being played on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 14, and Wednesday, May 15 at 5 p.m. Cost is $6 for adult and $4 for students.
