Last week, the Rev. Dave Ray spoke to the students of Lincolnview’s newly formed Fellowship of Christian Athletes and this coming week, May 10, youth pastor the Rev. Josh Angel will be speaking. A reminder that Friday, May 17, will be the last meeting of the year. The group will have a pizza party over the entire lunch period. Spanish students enjoyed celebrating Cinco de Mayo with “comida” this week. Classes brought in and prepared their favorite Mexican dishes. We would like to say “Gracias” to Ms. Oberhaus for sharing her kitchen with us. The French and Spanish Clubs also joined forces to support the Quarter Auction and FFA Community breakfast in fundraising events for a local family.
