Lincolnview Elementary fifth graders recently celebrated their graduation from the DARE program by performing songs about drug resistance and anti-bullying. The students all received certificates, T-shirts, pins and bumper stickers for their successful completion of the course. (Photo submitted.)

The final FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting of the school year will be held Friday, May 17, during HS lunch. The final meeting will be a pizza party and we will be choosing officers for next fall. Since April 19, we have averaged nearly 40 HS athletes and have had guest speakers Pastor Dave Ray and youth pastor Josh Angel help lead the group. If you would like to become involved contact Coach Langdon and/or look for information next fall.

Several of our student organizations recently joined forces to host a benefit breakfast for a parent of one of our Lincolnview students. It was an all you can eat breakfast, featuring all you could eat pancakes, along with sausage, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, fruit cup and drink. Their efforts raised $1,000, which was donated to the family. Organizer Tony Campbell would like to thank all the students and their respective organizations for helping make this a very successful event.
