Van Wert Police

July 13, 7:49 p.m. — Lewis G. Buckner Jr., 56, of 323 N. Race St., was arrested on a charge of assault for an incident that occurred in the 400 block of South Chestnut Street.

July 12, 4:28 p.m. — Justin Peter Meyer, 30, of Archbold, and San Juanita Kimmet, also 30, of Delphos, were charged with theft for an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart Supercenter.

July 15, 6:17 p.m. — Johnathan R. Murphy Jr., 28, of 150 Fox Road Apartments, Apt. 2B, was arrested at his residence on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court.

July 15, 12:27 p.m. — A person was reported acting in a disorderly fashion at the local Main Street Market supermarket on South Shannon Street.

Delphos Police

July 14, 10:52 a.m. — A resident of the 600 block of West Third Street reported that someone broke a window in a vehicle parked at the residence and stole several items from inside the vehicle. The items taken were found near another residence in the area.
