Earth Dome, Teddy Bear Days

On Sept. 18, Lincolnview students in kindergarten through sixth grade got a visit from The Earth

Dome, an extremely large inflatable earth balloon standing 19 feet high and 22 feet in diameter. It’s made of 24 huge panels silkscreened with photographs shot from satellites of the surface of the world on cloudless days. Developed by Mobile Ed Productions, The Earth Dome has been used widely across the United States to teach students about geography as well as environmental issues.

The Lancer Girls golf team competed in the Sectional Tournament on Tuesday, September 24 at Fox’s Den Golf Course in Celina. The team will then participate in the Willow Bend Invitational, the Wayne Trace Invitational, and the District Tournament.  The team currently is 8-4 on the season in dual matches.
