ST. MARYS — Coreen Ott has been named staff accountant at Midwest Electric.

Ott is responsible for payroll, governmental and tax reports, accounts payable, reconciling bank accounts; and general ledger, work order and other accounting duties.

For the past 15 years, Ott has been a staff accountant at Mark J. Cisco & Co., CPA, in New Bremen.  Prior to that, she spent five years at Omni Manufacturing in St. Marys. Ott has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tiffin University and holds a CPA license.

“We feel Coreen brings a great deal of technical skill to the position and should fit in well,” said Kevin Schmidt, manager, finance and administration.

Ott and her husband, Mike, live east of St. Marys.
