New OB-GYN physician comes to Van Wert

Van Wert Medical Services announces the addition of Helen Otteno, M.D., Obstetrics & Gynecology, to its ever-growing list of specialty physicians.

Dr. Otteno attended St. George’s University, School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Toledo Medical Center in 2016.

Dr. Otteno is a second-generation physician, following in her father’s footsteps, who was a physician in a small town in Romania.

Women may choose Dr. Otteno or one of the other highly qualified OB/GYN providers as their regular gynecologist for wellness exams, PAP tests, breast exams, mammogram recommendations, and other specialized women’s health needs.

Dr. Otteno has the expertise women need, while her convenient location at the Van Wert Health Center means they don’t have to travel far for comprehensive and compassionate care. Dr. Otteno, Dr. Delgado, and Shane Gerber, CNP are currently accepting new patients.
