December 21, 9:54 p.m. Tyler A. Coby, 24, of Spencerville, was arrested on a warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court while at the police station.

December 21, 12:06 p.m. Taylor A. Vannett, 20, of 515 W. Wayne St., was charged with theft for an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart store.

December 20, 9:18 p.m. Drew A. Kenny, 26, of 308 S. Chestnut St., was arrested on a warrant issued on behalf of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.

December 18, 11:17 a.m. Two unidentified juveniles were charged with possession of marijuana while at Van Wert High School.

December 19, 1:14 p.m. Jermaine W. Defore, 24, of 1135 Olympic Drive, was arrested on a warrant issued by Putnam County Juvenile Court while police were investigating a theft at Fairview Laundromat, 1190 S. Washington St.

December 18, 2:46 p.m. Carrie L. Dunn, 34, of 1161 E. Ervin Road, was arrested on a warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court.

December 18, 6:10 p.m. Frederick E. Sargent Jr., 58, of Hicksville, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) in connection with an accident that occurred at the intersection of Leeson Avenue and Davis Street.

December 18, 9:43 a.m. Richard E. McCoy, 82, of 314 S. Race St., was served with a warrant charging him with having a nuisance property.

December 16, 7:55 a.m. Troy B. Miller, 56, of 628 N. Walnut St., was cited for OVI and driving without a valid operator’s license following a traffic stop at the intersection of Gleason Avenue and Walnut Street.

December 14, 8:56 a.m. Jeromy L. Harvey, 38, of 419½ E. Main St., was cited for OVI following a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Main Street.

December 13, 1:49 a.m. Joseph M. Thomas, 28, of Ohio City, was cited for OVI following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Washington Street.

December 4, 11:10 p.m. Sonny A. Metzger, 45, of 507 Bonnewitz Ave., was cited for OVI following a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Washington Street.
