The Van Wert Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) was dispatched at 2 a.m. Tuesday for a house fire in Payne. The fire left one adult with a pet homeless. Payne and Antwerp Fire Departments were still on the scene as of 5 a.m. Tuesday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. CERT photo
