VW Health-Ottoville clinic gets new doctor

OTTOVILLE — Justin Laudick, APRN-FNP, and the team at Van Wert Health announce that Christopher Halasy, M.D., has joined their practice as a full-time physician and is welcoming new patients at the Van Wert Health-Primary Care Ottoville clinic, 290 E. Third St. in Ottoville.

“I am elated to welcome Dr. Halasy to our Ottoville practice,” said Todd Duff, vice president of physician services. “He provides a great blend of topnotch clinical education and knowledge with a strong passion for providing community-based care.”  

Dr. Halasy received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed an internship at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Akron and followed that with a residency program at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

“I very much enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them achieve better health,” Dr. Halasy said. “I believe it’s important to know each patient personally and their medical history, including family history, as all of these factors have an impact on a person’s health.”
