6:12 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township for a motor vehicle crash involving one car. No Injuries were reported. Driver was cited for failure to control.

7:31 a.m. – Deputies responded to the Village of Willshire to check a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.

8:54 a.m. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a location in the City of Van Wert for a subject that fell inside a residence.

8:59 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Union Township to check on a broken utility pole.

9:27 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Jennings Township to check on suspicious vehicle parked in a private drive.

12:13 p.m. – Deputies spoke with a subject in reference to fraud.

12:34 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a report of an assault.

1:20 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.

2:35 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to take a complaint on harassment.

2:36 p.m.. – Dog Warden responded to a residence in Jackson Township in reference to a stray dog on his property.

3:00 p.m. – Deputies and Ohio City Fire responded to a location in Liberty Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a car and semi-truck. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to Van Wert Health by Ohio City EMS. The driver of the passenger vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

3:41 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.

5:45 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Pleasant Township to assist with a subject in mental distress.

5:56 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the City of Van Wert to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.

5:58 p.m. – Deputies assist the Van Wert Police at a location in the City of Van Wert.

7:09 p.m.. – Deputies responded to a location in Pleasant Township for a welfare check.

9:34 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Hoaglin Township to check a vehicle reported to be setting in the roadway.

9:58 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject with shortness of breath.

12:38 a.m. – Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Washington Township. The driver, Oscar Hernandez was arrested for driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was transported to Van Wert County Corrections pending court.

1:51 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a burglar alarm.

11:05 a.m. – Dog Warden responded to a location in the City of Van Wert for a loose dog.

12:00 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Middle Point to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.

3:10 p.m. – Dog Warden responded to a location in the City of Van Wert for a loose dog.

6:07 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject who had fallen.

6:33 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a report of reckless operation.
