Delphos Police blotter 6/15-6/21/2026
On 6-15-2026 — officers responded to the 200 block of Elida Rd. to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Officers issued one driver a citation for failure to yield when turning.
On 6-15-2026 — officers were sent to the 200 block of N. Main St. after a business owner found damage done to their property.
On 6-15-2026 — officers met with an employee at a business in the 200 block of S. Main St. who reported that a customer attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill.
On 6-16-2026 — officers were sent to investigate a private property accident which occurred in a parking lot in the 200 block of Elida Road.
On 6-16-2026 — officers spoke with the manager of a financial institution on E. 3rd St. who reported that a female had cashed fraudulent checks at the Delphos branch as well as other branches nearby.
On 6-16-2026 — officers received a complaint by a third party of possible domestic abuse occurring at a residence on W. 1st St. Officers spoke with the residents at that address and did not observe any indication of abuse.
On 6-17-2026 — officers spoke with a female who reported that she found out her juvenile daughter had been meeting an adult male. The female requested information on obtaining a protection order.
On 6-17-2026 — officers spoke with a female who reported that she struck a pole at a business in the 1300 block of E. 5th St. and it had caused minor damage to her vehicle.
On 6-18-2026 — officers responded to U.S. 30 near Redd Rd. to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a two-vehicle crash which caused major damage to both vehicles. Officers assisted in traffic control as the crash caused road blockage.
On 6-18-2026 — officers were sent to the 300 block of S. Main St. after someone reported seeing two men in a physical altercation. Officers arrived in the area and located two males in a verbal altercation. Neither male wished to file charges and agreed to separate.
On 6-19-2026 — officers were sent to the area near the Love’s Truck Stop for a male wandering in the area confused. Officers located the male and attempted to gather information. The male appeared to need medical attention for a mental evaluation and agreed to be transported to the hospital by Delphos Fire and Rescue.
On 6-19-2026 — officers were sent to a residence in the 300 block of E. 4th St. for an unruly juvenile complaint. Officers met with a female who stated that her son had taken the keys to her friend’s car, unlocked the car, and stole an item inside.
On 6-19-2026 — officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of S. Bredeick St. for a disturbance. Officers found that a male was in a verbal argument with his nephew.
On 6-20-2026 — officers spoke with a female who reported that her son had attempted to cause physical harm to his sister while in the pool at another residence. Officers will forward a report to the juvenile prosecutor for review of charges.
On 6-20-2026 — officers responded to the 600 block of W. 7th St. for a loud music complaint. Nothing was heard by officers upon arrival to the area.
On 6-21-2026 — officers responded to the 500 block of N. State St. for a loud music complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with the residents who advised they would turn it down.
On 6-21-2026 — officers were dispatched to assist the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in locating a vehicle with a male and female inside. The Sheriff’s Office had received a complaint that the male and female were fighting inside the vehicle. Officers located the vehicle a short time later, parked, in the 24000 block of Lincoln Highway. Allen County Deputies met with officers at that location and spoke with the male and female, but both were uncooperative.
