2:51 a.m. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Liberty Union Road in Pleasant Township for a subject who had fallen.

3:43 a.m. – Deputies responded to the area of U.S. 127 and U.S. 224 in Pleasant Township for a motor vehicle crash. A 2020 Chevrolet Bolt driven by Rachel Griffiths of Paulding was traveling southbound on U.S. 127 approaching the roundabout at U.S. Route 224. She failed to yield to a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Kordane Thomas of Hoaglin Township, who was westbound on U.S. 224 and was navigating around the roundabout. No injuries were reported.

5:58 a.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS and Van Wert EMS to a location on Lincoln Highway in Ridge Township for a subject having neck and arm pain.

6:21 a.m. – Dispatched Ohio City EMS to a residence on Dillon Street in the Village of Ohio City for a subject reported as unresponsive.

7:19 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location on Rockford Road in the Village of Willshire to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

7:38 a.m. – Deputies responded to a residence on Pearson Road in Pleasant Township for a motor vehicle crash report involving a deer that had occurred the previous evening on Richey Road in Liberty Township.

8:13 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location on Liberty Union Road in Pleasant Township to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

9:15 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location on Production Drive in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

11:00 a.m. – Deputies, along with Ohio City Fire, responded to an area of U.S.  127 in Liberty Township for a report of a trailer loaded with scrap being on fire.

11:34 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location on Johnson Avenue in the City of Van Wert for a report of a hit-and-run accident. The accident was investigated by the Van Wert Police Department.

12:22 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location on West Carmean Street in the Village of Ohio City for a report of domestic violence.

12:35 p.m. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Elm Sugar Road in Tully Township for a subject who fell approximately 12 feet, landing on concrete and sustaining a head injury. Parkview Samaritan responded to the scene for transport.

2:01 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location on South Shannon Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

3:42 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence on Koch Street in the Village of Ohio City for a complaint of harassment.

4:26 p.m. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on North Main Street in the Village of Convoy for a subject who had fallen.

5:30 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence on Masters Road in Jennings Township for a report of a stray dog.

7:50 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence on Main Street in the Village of Venedocia to contact a resident in reference to a lost cell phone.
