Van Wert Police

August 26, 5:15 p.m. — A Grover Hill woman reported that someone stole a wallet from her vehicle while it was parked in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Van Wert.

August 27, 8:45 a.m. — A resident of the 300 block of North Cherry Street reported a theft at his residence.

Delphos Police

August 26, 5 p.m. — Officers served a warrant on Steve Diltz, 27, of Delphos, in the 900 block of Southridge Drive. The warrant was issued in Lima Municipal Court on charges of receiving stolen property.

August 26, 2 p.m. — Police were called to the 1100 block of North Main Street in reference to a pitbull running loose in the area. Three citations were issued to James Samons, 49, of Delphos, two for having untagged dogs and the third for an unmuzzled pitbull.
