It’s showtime!

Lincolnview theatre students have started rehearsing for their fall production of LHS Theatre – Past, Present, Future Variety Show.  This show will be full of comical skits and entertaining acts by past alumni theatre members, current high school theatre students, and a few future theatre members (elementary students).  Plan now to attend the show at the Marsh Auditorium on either Saturday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m. or Sunday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets may be purchased from theatre members, emailing ckraner@lincolnview.k12.oh.us or by calling the school.

The 2011 – 2012 members are: Seniors: Rebecca Adam, Beth Army, Levi Brake, Samantha Karalunas, Carley Springer; Juniors: Brittany Cavinder, Courtney Gorman, Haley McAbee, Lauren Calvert; Sophomores: Chance Burnette, Kaitie Marbaugh, Logan T. Miller; and Freshman: Mackenzie Strite, Courtney Wendel, Jordan Young.
The student council officers are as follows: President: Rebecca Adam, Vice President: Carley Springer, Secretary: Beth Army, Treasurer: Samantha Karalunas, and Reporter: Levi Brake.
The student council fundraiser this year is the Lancer 5K. It will be held October 22, 2011 rain or shine. Registration begins at 9 am in front of the Lincolnview High School office entrance and the race will start promptly at 10 am. The day of the race there will be a $15 registration fee but you can pick up a registration form at Lincolnview High School Office or at several of local establishments such as the YWCA, YMCA, Wellness Center, Everybodies Massage – to name a few. The preregistration fee is $10. There will be awards for the top finishers in a variety of age groups and door prizes will be given out while the results are being tabulated. The money raised from this event will go towards homecoming expenses.
