Van Wert Police

November 7, 9:18 a.m. — A 2007 Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle was reported stolen from the lot of Kinstle GM Sales and Service, 650 W. Ervin Road. The used vehicle was reportedly stolen sometime overnight on November 6, and a vehicle stolen from a dealership in Hillsboro was left on the Kinstle lot.

November 8, 1:02 a.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen from the lot of Van Wert Auto Supply, 118 N. Jefferson St., but was recovered a short time later.

November 8, 1:02 a.m. — Joshua L. Lacy, 22, of 1254 S. Shannon St., was charged with possession of marijuana, and Austin J. Fetters, 22, of 318 S. Market St., was charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of East First Street.
