December 1, 3:47 p.m. Mindy M. Kremer, 31, of 370 W. Maple Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on an outstanding warrant while at her residence.

November 29, 10:22 p.m. — Joshua D. Sargent, 30, of 740 Leeson Ave., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) after he was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel of a motor vehicle with the motor running in the 300 block of West Crawford Street.

November 29, 8:35 a.m. — Someone reportedly painted obscenities on a shelterhouse at Smiley Park, according to Van Wert Parks and Recreation Director Sue Heppeard.
