Kids’ night out

In order to raise more money to help several Lincolnview families in need this holiday season the Jr. High Student Council, along with Mrs. Dowdy and Mrs. Sheets, invite parents to send their K-6 Lincolnview students to spend the evening with us this Friday, December 9 while you take care of holiday shopping or wrapping or for any reason at all! The cost is $10 per child ($5 for each sibling). We will provide snacks and have several holiday-related activities and games planned for the evening. If interested, preregister by filling out the paperwork that was sent home on Monday, December 5 (deadline is Thursday, December 8 ) or inquire to Mrs. Sheets or Mrs. Dowdy via email at ssheets@lincolnview.k12.oh.us or sdowdy@lincolnview.k12.oh.us.
The second and third grade students will be presenting “Elfis and the Sleigh Riders” on Monday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the Elementary gym. In this rockin’ holiday musical, the North Pole is in an uproar over Elfis’ new band. Can Elfis save the day? You won’t want to miss this special holiday performance directed by Jennifer Slusher.
Seniors and parents, be sure to check the guidance website for updated scholarship information. Scholarship opportunities are rolling in more frequently now and students need to watch deadlines closely.
The Athletic Department will be selling presale tickets for all home and away boys’ varsity basketball games. Tickets will be available in the high school office during regular school hours until noon on the day of the game. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the athletic office at 419.968.2343.

The Lincolnview Elementary fourth and fifth graders have been practicing hard in preparation for their Christmas Program, “Gifts From the Heart” to be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m in the Lincolnview Elementary Gymnasium. Special “good luck and congratulations” go out to all the students who will be performing that evening.
A big “Thank you” to the Lancer community – the elementary library book fair was a huge success due to supportive parents, students and staff. Part of the excitement came from a coloring contest for each classroom where the winner was able to pick any book free. All week long we had special events including Teacher Sneak Peak, Grandparent/Parent Special Shopping Hours and “out of this world” announcements.
