Flagship has offer for school supporters

Flagship Tax Center, 114 W. Main St. (across from Butler’s Bakery), is once again participating in a fundraising program for all Van Wert, Crestview, and Lincolnview schools.

Taxpayers having their 2011 income tax return prepared by Flagship and mentioning they came in to support their school will have $10 donated to the school of their choice. In addition, each participating taxpayer will receive a $10 discount just for joining in this worthwhile fundraising project.

This applies to taxpayers who pay for their tax return preparation up-front and for those who have their tax preparation fees deducted from their IRS refunds.  I

t’s a win-win situation for the teachers, the students and the taxpayers. Last year in its first year of operation, Flagship donated $80 to local schools.

Appointments can be made by calling 419.238.3030, while walk-ins are always welcome.  And be sure to look for Uncle Sam waving on the corner!
