Sunday, July 5 – a burglary was reported in the 200 block of N. Franklin St.

Monday, July 6 – an unwanted person was reported at Casey’s.

Monday, July 6 – a report was made in reference to telecommunications harassment.

Monday, July 6 – arrested Jared Lee Ebel for aggravated menacing. The arrest was made in the 800 block of Kear Rd.

Monday, July 6 – the police department received a 911 call about someone firing a gun at Franklin Park. Upon arrival, officers learned there was a physical altercation that took place between a couple of individuals. During the scuffle, a different person fired a weapon. No injuries were reported and the suspects had fled prior to officers arriving at the scene. The case remains under investigation.

Tuesday, July 7 – a credit card was turned over to the police department.

Tuesday, July 7 – a miscellaneous report was taken in the 600 block of Burt St.

Wednesday, July 8 – a theft report was taken in the 500 block of E. Main St.

Thursday, July 9 – officers took a report of a hit-skip accident in the 800 block of E. Main St.

Thursday, July 9 – officers took a trespassing report for an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Webster Ave.

Thursday, July 9 – a report was taken after a welfare check was taken in the 300 block of S. Shannon St.

Thursday, July 9 – a telecommunications harassment report was taken at the police department.

Thursday, July 9 – arrested Joshua Lipps for domestic violence in the 200 block of E. Main St.

Thursday, July 9 – a group of unruly juveniles was reported in the 600 block of Woodland Ave.

Friday, July 10 – fraud was reported in the 800 block of N. Washington St.

Friday, July 10 – arrested David Torman Jr. for contempt of court due to his behavior during an active court trial.

Friday, July 10 – a juvenile was arrested for assault and menacing in the 1200 block of Lincoln Highway.
