12:14 a.m. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert Common Pleas Juvenile Division for civil contempt. Two warrants issued by Van Wert Common Pleas for a bond violation and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony. Theresa Louise Bakle, 40, of Van Wert, is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

12:38 a.m. – Deputies responded to an area of Dull Robinson Road in Liberty Township for a report of suspicious activity.

12:51 a.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location on Lincoln Highway in Ridge Township for a subject with chest pain.

4:42 a.m. – Dispatched Van Wert Fire to a residence on West Main Street in the City of Van Wert for a report of an activated smoke detector.

9:01 a.m. – Deputies, along with Convoy Fire and EMS, Van Wert Fire and EMS, responded to an area of U.S. 30 in Tully Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck. The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the accident. CERT and ODOT assisted on scene.

9:36 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location on West Ervin Road in the City of Van Wert for a report of a stray dog.

10:06 a.m. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 33 in Willshire Township for a report of a semi-truck losing debris.

10:45 a.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a location on Lincoln Highway in Ridge Township for a subject with chest pain.

12:32 p.m. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 30 in Ridge Township for a report of reckless driving.

3:04 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence on Pearson Road in Pleasant Township to check the welfare of residents.

3:29 p.m. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a residence on Middle Point Road in Ridge Township for a subject who fell.

4:27 p.m. – Deputies, along with Convoy Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Convoy Road in Tully Township. A 2014 Cadillac car driven by Zachary Clevenger of Paulding County was westbound on Convoy Road near the intersection of Werner Road. Clevenger estimated his speed to be around 60 mph when he swerved to avoid 4-5 deer in the roadway. His car left the roadway to the right and slid sideways through a field for about 500 feet before striking two trees and a pile of wood. Convoy EMS transported a passenger in the vehicle to OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital. Clevenger was issued a citation for failure to control.

6:54 p.m. – Deputies responded to an area of East Tully Street in the Village of Convoy to check an open line 911 call.

9:23 p.m. – Deputies responded to an area of Ohio 66 in Washington Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a deer.

10:04 p.m. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court for failure to appear. Riley Alan Mittie, 19, of Allen County, Ohio, is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

10:19 p.m. – Deputies responded to an area of Wren Landeck Road in Willshire Township for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

10:35 p.m. – Dispatched Ohio City EMS to a residence on Burris Road in Liberty Township for a subject with symptoms of a stroke.
