Talent show auditions scheduled

The Lincolnview Student Council will once again be holding the annual “LincolnviewHas Talent” talent show. It will be held Thursday, April 5, during the school day. All acts will need to audition Monday, April 2.  As long as the material is appropriate and approved by Mr. Dye, no act will be turned away. No act will be allowed to perform without going through the audition process; if school would happen to be cancelled then the auditions would be moved to the next school day. Performers will be judged on enthusiasm, talent, appearance and overall performance. “Lincolnview Has Talent” is open to all 7-12 Lincolnview students. A signup sheet is located in the high school office. Questions should be directed to Mrs. Johnson or Mr. Dye.

Parents/guardians interested in reserving a copy of this year’s junior high yearbook, Out of the Blue (and Gold), please send cash or check in the amount of $16.50 with your child to Mrs. Sheets as soon as possible.  This is a 36-page laminate cover edition created cover-to- cover by our yearbook staff. All students appear in the yearbook at least twice. Our student body will not be represented in the high school annual.  Please consider purchasing a copy for your son or daughter.  Questions can be emailed to Mrs. Sheets at ssheets@lincolnview.k12.oh.us.

Help!  My child is going into high school!  A meeting for 8th grade parents will take place on Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Neubrecht Lecture Hall.  Mrs. Leeth will be discussing course selections for high school and graduation requirements.  Please bring with you the course description book that the students were given on March 19.

The Lincolnview Theatre Dept. sends out a big thank you for everyone in attendance at this past weekend’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.  The students really worked hard and had an enjoyable experience.  Also, thank you to the many parent volunteers for making the production a success.  We hope to see you back at future shows.
