Van Wert Police

May 1, 5:21 p.m. — An incident of menacing/stalking was reported in the 1100 block of Westwood Drive.

May 1, 12:58 p.m. — The owner of a building in the 900 block of South Washington Street reported the theft of between 40 and 60 feet of copper pipe from the basement. Several decanters of liquor and lamp cords were also taken.

April 29, 7:51 p.m. — Ronald J. Cobb, 21, of 1140-C Bell Ave., was charged with theft as a result of an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart Super Center.
