Van Wert Police

July 21, 10:04 a.m. — Police received a report that someone tried to break into a house in the 300 block of North Cherry Street.

July 20, 10:25 p.m. — Joe B. Quevedo, 47, of 420 Boyd Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct after he was seen publicly urinating in the 200 block of East Main Street.

July 20, 5:13 p.m. — X-box 360 and Wii game consoles and several video games were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of North Chestnut Street.

July 18, 5:27 p.m. — CVS Pharmacy, 703 W. Ervin Road, reported the theft of Hydroxycut.

July 21, 9:19 a.m. – Money was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of Williams Avenue.
