City man returns to VW as chiropractor

Dr. Shad Foster, chiropractic physician/owner, is pleased to introduce Dr. Mark Fuerst as an associate chiropractic physician at Foster Family Chiropractic.

Dr. Fuerst returns to Van Wert to practice chiropractic after spending his first year of practice in Cleveland. He was a 2003 graduate of Van Wert High School, then went on to study pre-medicine at The University of Dayton while also being a member of the University of Dayton’s football team.

After completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Fuerst went on to study chiropractic medicine at The National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill., where he was able to learn and master the art of chiropractic.

After completing his chiropractic degree and national/state board exams, Dr. Fuerst started his career in January 2012 at a multi-disciplinary practice in Cleveland and was there for a year before returning back to Van Wert.

Dr. Fuerst’s background in athletics led him to put more of a focus on functional medicine and sports rehabilitation, but he enjoys treating all aspects of chiropractic and is very excited to begin practicing in his hometown.
